| The Alert24 system continuously monitors rodent activity in your premises, trapping and killing rats and mice and alerting you to their presence.  Each Alert24 system consists of a base station, up to 99 remote monitoring and trapping units and mains powered repeater stations where required.
There are two types of remote units, for rats and for mice.
Each Remote Unit consists of a rat or mouse snap trap, monitor, transmitter and battery pack, all fitted into a tamper resistant
Protecta bait station. The Remote Unit is fitted with a sensor, to signal that the trap has been activated.
Each remote unit will send regular messages to the central base unit by radio. Each message will identify the unique identity number of the remote unit, confirm that the unit is operational and signal any activity. |

The base unit sends SMS messages recording status and activity. Each type of message can be sent to a different mobile number or group of numbers. These messages can be routed via SMS and email to a suitable PC:-
- Daily status message confirming - base station is working, all remote units are working, details of any remote unit not working, with ID
- Remote unit trap activated, with remote unit ID
The daily status message is a unique feature of the Alert24 system. This timed and dated message confirms that the base and remote stations are all working correctly, providing protection 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Together with the timed and dated SMS activity messages, this provides a verifiable audit trail of protection and activity, invaluable for demonstrating due diligence.
